WERKSTATT LAB… “WERKSTATT” is the German word for a place where construction and repairs are carried out. However this translation does not do justice to the true German meaning. “Werkstatt” is much more a place where there is workmanship and passion combined with old traditional craftsmanship and knowhow. “LAB” the English word for a workplace where research is made and new technologies are implemented and tested.

These two words, “Werkstatt” and “LAB”, phrase exactly what my aim is to achieve in my designs and projects.

Living and working in Switzerland near Zurich for nearly a decade provided the advantage of being geographically a heartbeat away from Italy, France, Germany and Austria, and gave me the wonderful insight and opportunity to work with the most amazing and inspirational companies and craftsman in their fields.

Living in the heart of London for the last three years, gave me access to inspirational vibes and seeing new trends evolving in real time. Embracing the hard times during Covid and lockdowns, some great new interpretations of time and trends were made to reflect on this period.

The shift between fashion, innovation and sustainability is evolving to sustainable collections that remain more seasonless.

Now living in Melbourne, my passion and dedication is to create looks and accessories for menswear and womenswear that include classic core pieces that can be worn in multiple ways, across the seasons which reflect the sustainable ideas, stories and beliefs (Zeitgeist) of our time …
